Wind Turbine Technician Academy This 26-week academy will train utility grade technicians to install, operate, and repair large utility grade wind turbines based on internationally recognized BZEE standards. Obtain more information here.
Entegrity Wind Systems Technician Training (Fall, 2009) The Wind Energy Center at KVCC will act as the national training center for Entegrity Wind Systems 50 kilowatt turbine maintenance, installation, commisioning and repair. So You Want To Install A Wind Turbine - A How-To Seminar This half-day informational seminar provides basic wind education and a review of the steps that KVCC experienced to install a wind turbine.
Wind Summer Camp
Students between the ages of 12 and 16 are invited to attend an introduction to wind energy at the Wind Energy Camp 2009. Participants will see the KVCC turbine in action, learn about jobs in the industry, collect and analyze wind data, and even build a small wind turbine!
